I am keeping the group size small to start with. If anyone else wants to help me coordinate this, let me know. We can potentially expand the group size if there are more leaders. Conditions permitting, we will go to Parker's ridge and practice snow travel, anchors and other skills. Time permitting, the list I would like to get through includes: Kicking steps Self arresting Snow anchors, crevasse rescue and transitioning from self arrest into rescue. We will depart from the hostel Sunday morning, so the exact carpool time and details will be sorted out Saturday evening with participants.

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
