**NOTE - registration deadline for booking rooms at the hostel has passed. Participants are welcome to book their own room at Lake Louise. We will be doing a group pot luck meal on Saturday night. If you wish to join, please e-mail the trip coordinator by Friday March 8.
At this point, I will only be moving people from the wait list if they are making their own hostel booking & joining us for dinner - and thus should be included in the carpool plans. For those coming up for the day(s) only, you should try to arrange carpooling via the trip leaders. If there are any issues, feel free to contact me (Kate).**
This is the BITS program weekend at Lake Louise. The club has reserved 35 beds in the hostels for BITS participants & leaders. A group meal and/or potluck will be arranged if there is sufficient interest.
Individual BITS ski trips for Saturday and/or Sunday will be posted by trip leaders.
The cost for the night in the hostel will be $50 and payment can be made via e-transfer to the Treasurer at treasurerClub@acccalgary.ca along with the following information: Name, Full Address with postal code, phone number, email, event title and date, trip leader/coordinator and the password to accept the payment. These details assist the bookkeeper in sending out receipts for payments.
Once I have confirmation from the Treasurer that you have paid your deposit, I will move you from the waiting to the attendee list.
Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Money for bookings must be received by February 15. After that date you are responsible for finding someone else to take over your booking if you are unable to attend.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
