This trip is aimed at consolidating and
refining ice climbing movement technique
through peer feedback and video recording
(optional) in a positive and encouraging
environment.
During the last few seasons, many club members
have taken ice climbing clinic and courses
through the ACC-Calgary. The idea with this
trip is to bring climbers together to mutually
reinforce learning experiences and to help
ourselves refining our individual climbing
technique. We will focus on body movement
(including screw placement) and will avoid any
rope management / technique practice
This is not a course neither a guided trip, and
we highly recommend beginner ice climbers to
take one of the training courses offered
through the Club.
Please register if you want to
focus on improving your climbing technique, to
have a fun day with fellow ice climbers, and if
you are open to receiving and giving positive
feedback!
Required Items to Bring:
