Itinerary:
This trip is aimed at consolidating and refining ice climbing movement technique through peer feedback and video recording (optional) in a positive and encouraging environment. During the last few seasons, many club members have taken ice climbing clinic and courses through the ACC-Calgary. The idea with this trip is to bring climbers together to mutually reinforce learning experiences and to help ourselves refining our individual climbing technique. We will focus on body movement (including screw placement) and will avoid any rope management / technique practice This is not a course neither a guided trip, and we highly recommend beginner ice climbers to take one of the training courses offered through the Club. Please register if you want to focus on improving your climbing technique, to have a fun day with fellow ice climbers, and if you are open to receiving and giving positive feedback!
Required Items to Bring:
Regular gear for an ice climbing day out (harness, helmet, climbing boots, tools, several pairs of gloves, proper clothing, thermos, etc.)

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
