Itinerary: |
The plan is to head out to the Spray Lakes area of Kananaskis and ski tour the Rummel to Chester Lakes summer trail. The tour will be about 10km trailhead to trailhead with 400m of elevation gain and we will arrange a short shuttle for the stretch along the road. Please ensure you have an adequate fitness level prior to signing up. We will try to move at a moderate pace and the focus will be getting used to our gear and focusing on the terrain around us as we go. As part of the BITS program we will email a short list of questions to be answered prior to being moved from the waiting list if you have not skied with one of us.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
