This is a part of the Ice Review. Participants must be accepted on
to the Ice Review before signing up for this day trip based out of the
Shunda Creek Hostel.
Balfour Wall provides some excelent steep ice to work on fitness
and technique. We will setup top ropes on lines ranging from
WI3-4 to provide the opportunity for participants to choose the lines
that work for your ability and comfort level of climbing. Participants
should have some previous experience ice climbing and be
comfortable top-rope belaying. Beginners are welcome and we will
provide guidance on fundamentals if participants are interested.
There is also the option to try some mixed lines or lead if anyone

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
