Cline River Gallery provides several climbing lines ranging from WI3-4. We will setup top ropes to provide the opportunity for participants to choose the lines that work for your ability and comfort level of climbing. Participants need to have some previous experience ice climbing and be comfortable climbing top-rope on WI3. This will be a great place to practice skills, those that want a little help, we will provide guidance on fundamentals.
Required Items to Bring:
Harness, helmet, ice tools, crampons pre- adjusted to boots, boots suitable for ice climbing, 2-3 x locking carabiners, 2 X non- lockers, ATC belay device, personal anchor

Recommended Items to Bring:
Warm belay jacket, extra pair of gloves, extra layers/ warm clothing, waterproof shell, waterproof pants, headlamp, thermos with hot drinks, lunch

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
