Itinerary:
Hoooooo-weeeee! We're back for a third? fourth? installment of the Rogers Pass Trip for People Scared of Rogers Pass.

Rogers Pass is arguably the best ski touring destination on the planet. It's also &%$#ing scary. The purpose of this trip is to help people who have some experience touring, but might not be super comfortable venturing into huge, super complex terrain of Rogers Pass get out there with a couple of experienced club members and then spend the weekend skiing and talking about how to have fun and safe weekend in the pass.

The expectation of participants is that you're fit enough to put in a solid day in the pass (we generally target about 1500m of elevation gain each day), and that you're a strong enough skier to spend the day skiing trees with an early season snowpack.

We'll be spending two nights at the Wheeler Hut and will pick our ski objectives based on conditions. The intent is to spend time discussing our decisions, so bring a warm puffy you can throw on while we talk about why the Mouse-Trap is a terrible place to stop for lunch, or why Frequent Flyer has that name.

Itinerary: Friday we take off from Calgary and drive to Rogers Pass. We'll then ski tour up to Wheeler (~2km) by headlamp and then discuss our objectives for the next day. Saturday morning we go ski and then we'll come back to the Wheeler hut for a potluck dinner and plan our Sunday objective. Sunday, we do that ski thing again and then we'll close out the day driving back to Calgary.

Cost: The cost is $75/person plus gas money for your driver. Instructions for payment will be mailed out when you get added to the trip.
Required Items to Bring:
Everything you need for weekend of hut-based skiing. The hut has mattresses, but you need to bring sleeping bags.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Puffy jacket

If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
