Itinerary:

Part of Rock Review! We will be doing Dancing Sasquatch (5.7), which is a 3 pitch walk-off in Banff.

This trip is aimed at participants of ROCK- IT or other introductory multi-pitch courses, and will be an opportunity to practice and see the systems you've learned in action. You must know how to provide a safe lead belay!

Let's meet at Rafter 6 Ranch at 9:30AM and carpool to the trail-head in Banff. After the climb, we can enjoy the view and a snack on top and decide if we are up to afternoon cragging at Black Band afterwards.

Please email me (jacquelyn.smale@gmail.com) and let me know if you've participated in ROCK- IT or learned about multi-pitch systems before, and if you're keen to lead a pitch!

Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, belay device and locking carabiner

Good attitude, snacks, sending Oreos!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
