Again looking for experienced partners to
tackle
Woolley and Diadem, two 11,000ers that
have been
on my list for a while. This week weather
forecast looks amazing so i am flexible
within a
day or two but Friday is announced to be
super
hot which is not a good thing for
rockfalls on
this trip so I'd rather tackle them
earlier than
later in the week. Email or call me re
scheduling.
They are twin peaks encircled by receeding
glaciers just north of the Columbia
Icefield and
west of the Sunwapta River. Visible from
the
lofty highway viewpoint just north of the
Icefield Visitor Center, their uplift
blocks any
roadside views of Mount Alberta, to the
near
west.
