Itinerary:
Because our Aberdeen objective needed to be rescheduled for weather forecast and overhead hazard reasons, I suggested we do Mt Lorette. Shaun is an ACC member and TRCI guide and keen on taking a rope up on this coveted Kananaskis technical scramble. We will be crossing the river so bring appropriate water footgear. This is a technical scramble, lots of exposure and a couple of section of Class 5.4 ish rock climbing. If you haven't been up Lorette it is the best scramble in K-country
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, slings, locking biner, belay device, foot gear for fording the river

Recommended Items to Bring:
poles-very handy for the river crossing

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:30 AM
Carpool Location:   Calgary NW

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
