Itinerary:

This mentorship event is part of the AMP (Alpine Mentorship Program) organized by ACC Calgary jointly with ACMG Guide Brent Peters.

Cost: $265.00 per person

This is not a guided trip. The participants will be working as a team on route finding and leading. Brent will be acting as mentor to backstop decisions and safety. This trip is for the intermediate to advanced scrambler/rock climber with some trad seconding experience who is looking to transition into being an independent alpinist. This is a big one day objective, so fitness for the vertical environment is a must. Recent experience with glacier travel, crevasse rescue and rappel systems will speed up transitions and contribute greatly to the overall success of the climb. Ice climbing experience isn't a must, but will contribute to comfort levels while moving up the snow/ice slope to the ridge of Mt.Fay.
