Itinerary: |
Monday looks like it will be great weather so I
am looking for one/two partners to climb
Mount
Joffre, one of the classic 11,000ers of the
Rockies in K-Country.
It has some snow and possible ice ascent for the
last 200 to
300 metres with a few pitches of about 40
degrees near the top.
You will need to be fit and able to carry a
heavy pack as we are hiking in with
bivy and glacier gear.
We will leaving the city Sunday afternoon, hike
in to the bivy site and start super early on
Monday to tag the summit and head back to the
parking lot the same day.
Total elevation gain 2100 metres and 36 kms
return. Please only think of signing up if you
have
the fitness and endurance to go at a steady to
fast pace with us, thank you.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
