Itinerary: |
*Note date change. We've had to move our event
out by a week. I hope you can all still make
it!
Before we move back into colder temperatures
and ice climbing season kicks up again we want
to take the time to clean up from LAST season.
Cordelette from v-threads and other items are
often left behind throughout the season. Once
the ice melts all this junk piles up at the
base of the climb. Read more here:
https://gripped.com/profiles/spring-ice-gone/
The ACC Calgary Section would like to do its
part to keep our routes clean and rubble free.
Join us for a day of ice climbing route
cleaning.
We will likely form 2 separate groups and head
to different locations, meeting up at the end
for a beer and some snacks.
Potential locations: Haffner Creek, Louise
Falls, Weeping Wall, Junkyards, etc.

This event may be postponed to September 30th if
the weather isn't cooperating.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
