Itinerary:
Dates are Aug 3 to Aug 6th 2018. We booked 3 nights at Neil Colgan Hut in August. Find a partner and sign up to this trip! This trip is for Advanced participants. Alpine rock and ice climbing required. Glacier travel and route finding. There are two current summer access routes: both begin at Moraine Lake (5-8 hours) and involve technical rock climbing and glacier travel. Should be comfortable carrying heavy loads in steep terrain. Climbing Objectives (condition dependant) The peaks of the Valley of the Ten Peaks are all over 10,000 feet, and the hut, at 9,700 feet is an ideal base for bagging these summits. It is standard to climb several peaks in a day. Mt. little, Mt. Bowlen, Mt. Allen, Mt. Perren, Mt. Fay,Mt. Quadra. Participants will be pre-screened for rock climbing and glacier travel experience. Hut fees will cost $90. Participants are responsible to buy backcountry wilderness pass for 3 nights.
Required Items to Bring:
Sleeping bag, food, alpine climbing gear. List will be send to the select participants.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
