Prerequisites: Participants do not need any
previous glacier travel

idea. The course instructor has extra crampons,
ice axes,
harnesses and helmets for use on a first-ask,
first-serve basis if
participants do not have their own.
Required Items to Bring:
Harness, helmet, belay device (auto-blocking
like ATC-Guide or

7mmx1.5m prussic
cord and a lunch/drink.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Warm clothes (expect to stand around and
listen/learn) and then participate.
