Itinerary: |
The road is clear over the Highwood Pass. The plan is to
ride from the Peter Lougheed side, over the pass to the
far gate and return.
Expecting some spectacular mountain views and quiet
tarmac as the road is still closed to cars.
This will be a moderately paced ride as it's my first
longer ride of the year. It's a big day out but for every
climb there is an equally fun descent. 105km and 1300m
ascent.
This event moved from Friday June 1st as the weather
forecast for Sunday is much better.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
