Itinerary: |
This trip is intended as a meet and greet for
the members wanting to join our Alpine Review trips.
Rock-it and students are welcome to fill any extra spots.
This is a fun mod scramble. 3 cruxes may normally exist:
1. a short 4.+ rock step
2. a short gully that may hold snow and/or ice, and may be exposed to some rock fall
3. A bit of moderate hands-on exposure along the route
|
Required Items to Bring: |
Bring gear appropriate to the Skyladder or A2 routes, depending on Alpine Review day you're joining.
Please ask for any questions on this request. A headlamp with good batteries is not optional.
Just for fun, we may weigh packs (bring a fish scale for the carpool if you have one!) I bet mine's not the lightest, and guarantee it's not the heaviest :)
|
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
change of clothes and nutrition/hydration for after the scramble

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
The posted cutoff time is part of this trip application.
Please communicate to both trip leaders any cancellations after this, by txt. A name needs to be included the txt.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
