This is an EASY, FRIENDLY PACED tour of 8 km and 750 vertical-m to GAIN RIDGE TOP for lunch with a view, and a little exploring. Depending upon conditions, we might not even get much skiing in, except for back down the up-track (which is still nice). Perhaps stop at Temple Lodge for refreshments on the way down.
Required Items to Bring:
The usual, including the minimum 3-antennae beacon, metal shovel and probe.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Lunch, water, sunglasses, sunscreen...

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   We skin up Skoki Trail to just past the ski resort boundary, turn climber's right to enter Wolverine Valley, follow the valley drainage up towards Unity Peak, rise above tree-line then swing climber's right to gain Wolverine Ridge's top using its lowest angled, NE, aspect (as conditions and terrain allow).
Carpool Departure Time:   07:10 AM
Carpool Location:   West Valley Carpool Parking Lot, Calgary
Carpool Directions:   10103 West Valley Rd SW See on google maps: https://www.google.com/maps/place/West+Valley+Carpool/@51.0867336,-114.2384939,17.75z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x53716c0240d854e3:0xb0f115a4fb230a1d!8m2!3d51.0876806!4d-114.2368913

Notes:
This is an EASY, FRIENDLY PACED tour ... perhaps only about 2 km/h or so on the up-track. The down-track is expected to be clear sailing, with minor poling or skating and no skinning. Happy cruising!

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
