Itinerary: |
The intention of this trip is to climb
Athabasca, either by the AA Col or the Ramp
Route on the Saturday - setting off very early
to get the best snow conditions. We will climb
as 2 rope teams, but we will be in close
communication and take the same route.
Of course this is entirely weather
dependent, and we may do something entirely
different
This is part of the Alpine Review and you
will also have to register for this
Prior to the trip we will head out on a
scramble to get to know people, and there will
be a crevasse rescue practice night beforehand
too when people are confirmed on the trip
All participants will be pre-screened, so
please email your alpine / mountaineering /
climbing experience. If you don't get in
touch, you will not get on the trip

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
