Itinerary:
Bow to Yoho traverse, starting March 23. So we'll stay at the Bow Hut on March 23rd, Guy Hut on March 24th and Stanley Mitchell on 25th. Cost is $90 not including winter permits (you'll need to call the ACC and get this yourself) After sending me an email with your ski experience, you can secure your spot by sending your payment to the Treasurer along with the following information: Name, Full address including postal code, phone number, email, course/event title and date, Trip Leader/Coordinator, and the password to accept payment. These details assist the bookkeeper in sending out receipts for payments. Once I have confirmation from the Treasurer that you have paid, I will move you from the waiting to the attendee list. The easiest way to send payment is via e-transfer.
Required Items to Bring:
Ski touring kit, glacier travel kit, food, etc.

Notes:
If we haven't skied together before, please send me a quick email listing some recent ski trips you have done, whether you have experience with glacier travel, and the last time you practiced crevasse rescue.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non- recoverable costs).
The Calgary Section of the Alpine Club of Canada is a not for profit / flow through course and trip provider. We organize courses and trips based on member demand and divide any costs that we incur between event attendees. In other words, we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
