Itinerary:
Ski tour up Mount Cathedral. Expect a long day, elevation gain is 1600m (to summit) and 14 km return. Exit via the keyhole descent on the north side. If it snows too much Saturday or the avalanche danger rises we will not go to Cathedral. Please come well rested and fully prepared to fully participate in the decision making. Alternates are Spray Range traverse, Cirque Peak, or Surprise Pass. If we haven't skied together before please message me with your ski ability, fitness and avalanche experience (specifically if you've taken AST 2) and any advanced first aid you have.
Required Items to Bring:
Transceiver (3 antennas only), probe, shovel. Ski gear, layers, glacier/ski mountaineering kit etc.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Sun glasses, water proof shell, sun screen.

Notes:
If people are interested I would suggest staying in Lake Louise at hostel or great divide lodge in order to get an easier start to the day.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
