Itinerary: |
We've got 8 beds at Shunda Creek for Fri & Saturday nights.
We will focus as much as possible on objective climbing - so
looking for leaders & competent followers. Ideally you should
minimally be an excellent lead belayer & have some experience
with multi-pitch climbing (rock ok). Objectives may vary
depending on group make-up, so please sign up if you are
interested regardless of your climbing level and email me if we
have not climbed together before. Preference to those who
have attended WMG trips in the past or who are willing to lead
and/or mentor.

Required Items to Bring: |
Crampon-compatible boots (ski boots work), ice crampons*,
ice tools*, harness, helmet, belay device, personal anchor (or
2), goggles/glasses for face protection, gloves (multiple), warm
layers etc.

We will carpool based on location and when people can leave.
We have the option to climb Friday. We will coordinate this in
the week prior to leaving.

Waiver:
Everyone attending this event will be required to sign the
ACC Waiver
at the beginning of the event. Read the waiver carefully to ensure you fully
understand it. If possible, please print and fill it out except for
the signature fields before arriving at the event.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Payment required for both Friday & Saturday nights: $65.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
