Itinerary:
This trip is for BITS registered participants only. After enjoying the BITS program's Saturday night festivities at the Mosquito Creek hostel, wake up, enjoy breakfast and tour right out the hostel door. Head west to the West Nile slopes below Bow Peak (about 2 km with 300 m elevation gain, average 30 degree slopes). Lap the glades to our delight. Lets see if conditions allow us to safely rise above treeline and find the entrance up to the Grand Daddy Coulior, not to climb and ski it, just to check it out. https://seethenski.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/img_20160105_185325.jpg An avalanche conditions discussion before we depart will, as usual, determine if a Plan-B is in order.

The usual ski/split-board and safety gear.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
