Itinerary:
We're going to head to Wedge Smears in K-Country and do a few nighttime laps. The ice ranges from WI2 to 4 ish, and some mixed lines. Beginners and more experienced climbers welcome.
Required Items to Bring:
The usual ice climbing equipment, warm clothing, food, hot drink, head lamp, spare batteries.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Spare head lamp.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Park at the Galatea parking lot and walk back down the road a couple of hundred metres. Turn right.  
Carpool Departure Time:   04:30 PM
Carpool Location:   Petro Canada Highway 1 / Highway 22
Carpool Directions:   Meet at the dirt road to the Petro Can gas station - the north, Cochrane end, just off Hwy 22.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
