This time we will be staying at the Bear
Lodge in Golden. A beautiful wooden cabin with 3
bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a propane fireplace
and a hot tub on the patio.
The plan is to meet Thursday in Calgary NW after
work and carpool
to Golden where our cozy cabin will
be waiting for us. We will ski Rogers Pass
terrain
the 3 days so ski experience and avi training
highly recommended - AST 2 preferable!
A questionnaire will be sent to each one wait-
listed.
The cost is $220 per
person (=$73/night), not including wilderness
passes, which you must purchase separately. Once
I have responded
to you with regards to your eligibility
for the trip you can secure a spot by sending
your payment (via e- transfer) to the Treasurer
along with the following information: Name, Full
Address with postal code, phone number, email,
event title and date, trip leader/coordinator
and the password to accept the payment. These
details assist the bookkeeper in sending out
receipts for payments.
Once I have confirmation from the Treasurer that
you have paid your deposit, I will move you from
the waiting to the attendee list. The easiest
way to send payment is via e-transfer.
Carpools & dinners will be organized later. Each
participant is responsible
to bring their own breakfast, lunch and fancy
beverages. More info on Bear Lodge here:

lodge-golden-bc.php (A queen pull-out bed in
the lounge area is also available thus 8 ppl).
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
Trip Feedback If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
