Itinerary:
Brazeau loop (start & finish at Nigel Pass). 7 days long hike+scramble; Elevation gain: 1878 m (for the loop only). July 4 Drive & hike over Nigel Pass to Four Point 13.8 km July 5 Four Point to Jonas Cutoff 18 km July 6 Jonas Cutoff to Brazeau Meadows area 20 km (random camping at the White Goat Wilderness Area) July 7 Brazeau Meadows to Mt. Aztek http://www.summitsearch.org/trip_reports/260- first-recorded-ascent-of-mount-aztec about 16 km return; 2nd night at the Brazeau Meadows area July 8 Brazeau Meadows to bivy past South Wolverine - at least 14km July 9 South Wolverine to Marble Mt + Flat Ridge about at least 20 km return http://benthereclimbedthat.ca/content/two-day- trek-marble-mountain-and-flat-ridge https://stevensong.com/canadian- rockies/icefield-parkway/marble-mountain/ last night at the same bivy spot July 10 hike back – about 20 km & drive home
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, Parks Pass, Wilderness Backcountry Permit, campsite booking info, tent, sleeping bag, thermarest, tarp, stove, gas, cooking utensils, hiking boots, poles, tarp, warm layers, hat, gloves, sunglasses, headlamp, food for 7 days, water, water treatment tablets or filter, First Aid Kit with blisters care and your own medication, waterproof bag to store your food in, and a rope to hang it on a tree (bears safety precaution), cash for drivers, bear spray.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Sunscreen, gaiters, camera, Thermos, GPS/map/compass, PLB, hand and feet warmers.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
