Itinerary: |
There are still lots of uncharted ice climbs around and this hopefully (if we can find it) will be one of them. I found a photo of this area a few years ago and finally figured out where it is approximately. It looks cool with quite a few nice lines of different difficulties. This is a mystery area and we don't know if it is even in right now, so be prepared for a fun weekend with maybe not as much climbing as you might wish. If it is available we will take the dome tent and use this as our base camp. If not, we will have to bring our own tents for the night.
If you are up for adventures, this will be the trip for you.
If I haven't been on a ice climb with you this season, please send me a few lines explaining your ice climbing experience (link_tobias(at)web.de). Although due to the nature of the trip reference will be given to people I have done similar trips before.
ps: not having a lot of beta is part of the adventure :-)

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
