Itinerary:
The idea is that we go and climb at Grotto Weds evening. Assuming that they haven't fallen down / are about to fall down, I fancy His and Hers. If we do get 6 people, it would be handy to have someone who would be prepared to lead Grotto Falls. We will leave from the PetroCan gas station on Highway 1 about 4.30pm.
Required Items to Bring:
Headlamp, spare headlamp, spare batteries (you wouldn't believe it, but people do rock up for these night climbs having forgotten their headlamps), Ice tools, crampons, climbing boots, belay jacket, climbing gloves, belay gloves, harness, helmet, belay device, 2 locking carabiners, water, food, warm clothing, gas money if carpooling.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Hot drinks, extra gloves, food, a beer for afterwards.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Meet at carpool at PetroCan on Highway 1 / Highway 22 junction at 4.30.

Carpool Location:   PetroCan on Highway 1 / Highway 22 junction

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
