Itinerary:
Join us for 4 Days of backcountry skiing and 3 nights at Jumbo Pass cabin. You must have your AST 1 to participate in this trip. The Jumbo Cabin is located at treeline, with excellent tree skiing and access to alpine terrain. Therefore you should be an intermediate to advanced skier who's comfortable skiing trees. The cabin is run by the Columbia Valleys Hut Society - check out the following link for more information: http://cvhsinfo.org/cms/jumbo- pass-cabin/. A proposed ski development within Jumbo Pass has made the area well known. You can check out the trailer for the Jumbo Wild movie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=ScaPSm_R_x8 We will be taking a sled into the hut. Total cost of sled and hut fees is $325/person. Payments can be made to the acc treasurer via email money transfer - treasurer@acccalgary.ca. Get in touch if you have any questions!
Required Items to Bring:
Costs listed above assume the leader's hut fees and transportation costs are paid for by the participants.

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   06:00 AM
Carpool Location:   TBD

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

No refunds. You are responsible to find a suitable replacement who is approved by the trip leader if you want to cancel.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
