Itinerary: |
Pre-Christmas Pow day! Need to burn a vacation
day? Why not go ski some pow. Destination TBD
depending on Avy and weather conditions and where
participants want to go. Possibilities include:
Surprise Pass, Ogden Shoulder, Hero's Knob or any
spot you've always wanted to go. It looks like it
will be cold and clear so be prepared for temps of
-15 to -20. If the high temperature is less than
-17 at the warmest spot we can find the trip will
be canceled. We will make the call to cancel the
night before at 7:00pm.

Required Items to Bring: |
Transceiver (3 antennas only), probe, shovel. Ski
gear and layers.

Sun glasses, sun screen, water proof shell, puffy,
thermos.

West on #1 from Calgary, exit right to West Valley
Rd, spin around the roundabout, under the highway,
then back toward Calgary.

yourself and brief description on your level of
experience and fitness. If you are an aspiring
trip leader and would like to co-lead this trip
please drop me a line.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
