Itinerary: |
It has been my custom to scramble up a mountain
before the big feast and thus I am once again
asking anyone that is keen for some exercise and
a fun outing to join me on that day.
We will have to see what the snow and weather
conditions are before we determine which
mountain gets climbed. The range of peaks
available is numerous and if snow conditions
allow, we could tramp up the Opal Ridge, head up
EOR, or just hike up Ha Ling and Miners Peak. If
it is really rotten out there we would simply
hike up Cox Hill or head up Heart Mountain. We
should be back in good time to be washed up and
ready to embark on any Christmas like
festivities.
If we have a big group, it will be easier to
break trail if need be.
This year let us add to the Christmas cheer by
decorating a tree up near treeline and if we all
bring a few ornaments with us it should come off
pretty well and we can take some nice photos for
next years photo contest, so lets have some fun
out there together.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
