Itinerary:
I would like to head into the Ghost and set up camp on Friday night (or morning) (people coming in Saturday morning/evening welcome). That way we can get an early start on Saturday and get on some ice! My plan is to drive into the Ghost Friday, set up a camp at the bottom of the big hill and use that as base camp. I am planning on bringing my trailer and the dome tent as luxury winter camping items. Other luxury winter camping items encouraged. For this to work, we will need a few people with ghost-mobiles to sign up as well so that we can get people to their climbing destinations. This is not a guided trip and you will be required to make friends at camp if you don't have a partner and can't lead ice or solo the route you would like to climb. I am organizing the camping portion only however I will send out an email before the trip with # of vehicles that can make it to the ghost and participants looking for partners. Check the carpool question and organize yourselves if possible!
Required Items to Bring:
Tent, warm clothes, Ice gear, a ride to the climbing

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
