Itinerary:
Head up to Highwood Pass and have a look around. It's still early season so I was planning on skiing some mellow terrain and spend some time on beacon rescue.
Required Items to Bring:
Skis. Shovel. Probe. Beacon. Warm layers. Skins. Lunch. Hot drink. Helmet - it's still early season so there are the possibly of rocks.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Head torch. Personal first aid kit. Second pair of gloves.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Parking lot at the top of the pass.

Carpool Location:   Parking lot at south side of Transcanada
Carpool Directions:   Take Valley Ridge exit of Hwy 1 and drive underneath highway to access service road on south side of Hwy. heading East past the wedding chapel to the parking lot of our usual meet up spot. ** Calgary Transit Info We'll be leaving as close to 8am as possible so please try and turn up a little early so we can sign waivers and organize cars etc.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
