Itinerary:
The cost for this course is $97 (including GST) This mentorship event is part of the AMP (Alpine Mentorship program) organized by the ACC Calgary Alpine Chair jointly with ACMG Guide Brent Peters. For level 2 participants the expectation is that you have done more than 10 backcountry ski trips and know how to ski downhill in non-complex terrain. You have also completed AST1. The goal of this event is to improve your skiing such in more complex terrain with tighter trees, convex rolls or bumpy rolls and how to manage more difficult terrain.

Once you are approved, please send the payment to treasurer@acccalgary.ca and email Luis the confirmation. You will then be moved to the participants list.

Required Items to Bring:
Transceiver (digital 3 antennas), snow shovel, probe, warm clothing, ski touring gear, sunglasses/ski goggles and headlamp (extra spare batteries). Feel free to bring anything else you might consider necessary.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Meals/snacks/drinks, extra clothing and any required personal items (lip balm, sunscreen, advil, etc).

Notes:
YOUR PAYMENT METHOD IS AS FOLLOWS, DO NOT SENT PAYMENT TO TRIP COORDINATOR!!!: 1. Send an INTERAC e- Transfer to the ACC Treasurer using the Treasurer@ACCCalgary.ca email address. Do NOT forget to let the Treasurer know your name, email and the course it is for! Plus advise the e-transfer password in a separate email. Also email confirmation to the Course Coordinator . They will then move you to the attending list.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:

There will be no refund for cancellations. Courses will run regardless of weather unless the guide deems conditions unsafe then a back-up option may be executed. This is to be decided by the guide the evening before.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
