Cost : $131
This trip will be a first-come-first-serve and
this is based on who can deliver their $131 (GST
included) cheque/cash/INTERAC e-Transfer first.
Your payment options are as follows: mail a cheque out to the attention of "Alpine Club of Canada - Calgary Section" to the address I will email you once a few have registered.. Or send an INTERAC e- Transfer to the ACC Treasurer using the Treasurer@ACCCalgary.ca email address. Let the treasurer know your name, email and the course it is for! Also, send a follow-up email to the Treasurer with the password. We prefer INTERAC e- Transfer.
Pease be advised that if you have paid and need to pull out of the course, there will be no refund. Rather, it will be your responsibility to find a replacement and obtain a cash transfer from that person. The T&L Committee will work to help find a replacement if time allows. The sooner we know that you cannot attend the better.

Notes:
The course will be taught by Sarah Hueniken, a
full ACMG Alpine Guide.
Sarah Hueniken has been living and guiding in
Canmore for the past 15 years. As a full ACMG
Alpine guide, she spends her summers guiding rock
and alpine and her winters guiding ice and mixed
routes. Having climbed for over 20 years, Sarah
has traveled and worked in various places
throughout the US, Mexico, South America and Asia
to explore the mountains of the world. Highlights
have included a first ascent of a 6000m peak
bordering Tibet (Sachun 5.10+ M5), new ice lines
in Iceland and Canada, first ascent of sea stacks
in Newfoundland, Spray Ice, and participating in
various climbing competitions. Sarah is also the
first female in North America to climb M12 and
M13+. She also works with Chicks with Picks, NOLS, and is an Outdoor Research, Hot Chillys and Sterling Rope sponsored athlete.

Policy: Due to the popularity of these clinics,
full payment must be received to book your spot.
There will be no refund for cancellations. Courses
will run regardless of weather unless the guide
deems conditions unsafe then a back-up option may
be executed. This is to be decided by the guide
the evening before.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
