Itinerary: |
I have tunnel creek hut booked the nights of December 29, 20 and 31st. That gives us 4 days of skiing at the fantastic Tunnel Creek hut near Fernie, BC. We will ski up the morning of the 29th, drop our stuff and start the touring! On the 1st, we will do some morning laps, then ski out and drive 3 hours back to Calgary. I have a free place for attendees to stay on the night of the 28th, in town.
If I haven't skied with you before, we will need to chat about experience and expectations for the trip to make sure it is a good fit, or maybe even get out for a day earlier in December.
There are all types of terrain and aspects near the hut, so there is skiing to be had in almost any conditions.
Hut costs are $100/night, which will be split between 6 people, or $50/person for the 4 days.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
