FRIDAY: Carpool, depart early and drive approx 5.5 hours to Kootenay Pass. Ski the afternoon and drive 40 minutes to stay in Hotel Ymir for the night. Take in the Fri nite Hillbilly jam session and dinner special in the pub.

SATURDAY: Ski the day at Kootenay pass and return to Hotel for night.

SUNDAY: More turns at the Pass departing p.m. for home.

Backcountry ski & avi safety gear, food and dress.

Hotel Ymir is interesting, comfortable and good price, expect maybe $25 -30 per person/night based on two people. If you sign-up for this trip please indicate if you are able to drive, vehicle type, how many people you can take with gear and confirm if you have snow tires (law in BC).

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
