Itinerary: |
Looking to scramble Mount Temple before the
summer's over! Tried for last Sunday but was
forced to cancel due to the forecast. It'll be
a long day and an early start. 16 km return and
1600 m elevation gain roughly. Speed demons
need not apply (I am a slow and steady
scrambler). While the route shouldn't be overly
technical, exposure may occur and rock fall
hazards may be present. Considerable
hiking/scrambling experience is an asset.
Please review some maps and trip reports prior
to the event so we can share that
responsibility equally.

This scramble will be cancelled if we have a
forecast calling for rain or snow showers (near
the top).
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
