Weather looks good Sunday so the plan is to climb Plutonian Shores on Raven Crag (above Cave and Basin). There is a 30-45 min approach, 7 pitches of 5.7-5.9 sport climbing bolted anchors, and a walk-off descent. Participants must be competent at belaying a leader. While not required to lead, participants should be able to comfortably climb up to 5.9 outdoors and be on the move for 4-6 hours. Note I've not climbed this route but am comfortable leading this grade. If I haven't climbed with you before please send a description of your climbing experience & abilities including recent multi-pitch climbs. The topo for the route is: l t/files/Plutonian%20Wall_0_0.jpg
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, shoes, belay device, personal sling.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Personal stuff (e.g. jacket, water, food, headlamp, sunscreen, backpack you can climb with). We don't return to the start of the climb so everything you bring is coming up & over - pack wisely!

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Lady of Assumption School - 7311 34 Ave NW
Carpool Directions:   We'll leave the carpool at 7AM so arrive a few minutes before.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
