This is a full day bike and hike trip with in excess of 1500m total elevation gain and 20+ km total distance, so you need a good level of fitness, we won't be slouching. Caveat: given the amount of snow still in the mountains and the forecast being unclear at the date of posting this trip may be reclassified to Ski-Mo, if so then the plan would change as follows: Hike and skin to summit of Glasgow then traverse to Corwall and ski the big East face before hiking/ bush whacking back to the cars.

Mountain Bike, Helmet, Good Boots, Snowshoes, Gaiters, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Ice Axe, Crampons, Hiking Poles, Headlamp and a couple of pairs of light to medium weight gloves.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Warm Clothing, Food and Water, Bear Spray, bike padlock If Ski-Mo then AT Boots, Skies, Skins, Shovel, Probe, Transceiver (2+ digital antenna), Helmet, Harness, a couple of locking carabiners.

How to Get There:

Carpool Departure Time:   05:30 AM
Carpool Location:   Bragg Creek Community Centre
Carpool Directions:   From Calgary turn South on Hwy 22 and head for Bragg Creek. At the 4 way head straight through keeping the Cinammon Spoon cafe on your right. Drive about 500m and the Community Centre is on your left.

Final trip format decision will be made evening of Wednesday 17th and communicated to all sign-ups, I'll modify trip posting accordingly. If Ski-Mo doesn't appeal then please remove yourself so that I can review any wait listed individuals.

It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non- recoverable costs).
