Itinerary:
Ski tour up Mount Field. Expect a long day, elevation gain is 1400m (to summit) with a flat 6km ski in the morning and then again on the way out. Total distance is around 20km. The ski down is great, if your legs hold out. Please come well rested and fully prepared to fully participate in the decision making. Based on current avalanche conditions I don't expect we'll ski to the summit. The back-up plan is to ski at treeline and get some good turns in, or if it snows too much on Friday to go to Emerald Peak or Narao Shoulder. If we haven't skied together before please message me with your ski ability, fitness and avalanche experience.
Required Items to Bring:
Transceiver (3 antennas only), probe, shovel. Ski gear and layers, etc.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Sun glasses, water proof shell, sun screen, cross country ski wax (if you like it for way out).
