I have an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other...and
sometimes the devil asked me"What the hell are you doing?" Its
time to dust off those halos and and horns for the annual powder
review. It promisses to be hot as hell in the hut and cool as
champane powder on the slopes. Costumes are seriously
recommended for maximum enjoyment
of the Saturday evening festivities. No costume? Well see what
our guest" master" of ceremony has in mind for you....
$100 gets you 2 nights accommodation (March 2 & 3,
2018) at the A.O. Wheeler Hut, Saturday night
dinner, snacks, and refreshments.

Backcountry skis/boards, skins, boots, poles, warm clothing
(hat,glove/mitts+spare,jacket/pants),
sleeping bag, food & refreshments
(other than for Saturday night), sunglasses.
Avalanche transceiver,
probe, shovel, camera, helmet.

Remember the 2017/18 Winter Permit System is in effect. If you
intend to ski in restrcted areas or use specific Parking lots pick up
your permits at the information centre.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Please sign up only you are sure you can attend
this event. The event can not be cancelled or
re-scheduled due to weather or road conditions.
Refunds will not be available after supplies
are purchased and/or an alternate waitlist
participant is not available.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
