Itinerary:
The plan is to go ski somewhere along the Smith- Dorrien. If avalanche and weather conditions allow we will try combining the Purple Knob and Hero Knob loops (up to 1200m elevation gain, depending on starting point). If conditions are Considerable or higher, or the weather is poor we will likely yoyo whatever good skiing we can find. If we find some beta that suggests ski quality in K-country is poor will change our destination to Highway 93N. Pace for the day will be quick-ish (expect uphill pace to be 400m per hour). It is supposed to be cold on Saturday, the trip will be canceled if day time highs in the valley bottom are lower than -17C. See www.mountain-forecast.com If we haven't skied together please send me a quick email or text briefly detailing your experience, fitness, downhill ability, etc. tylerhallman@hotmail.com 403-607-7125
