Itinerary:
Mark Carlson will enthral us with the tales about the new route he and Tyler put up on Goat Buttress! The Fluffy Goat Butt-face is a 600+m face climb on the imposing Goat Buttress. The (possibly?) unrepeated route is a blend of alpine sportaineering and vertical cragging up to 5.11 in difficulty. It is an all-you-can-eat limestone buffet for the average Bow Valley sport climber. Mark Carlson has prepared tales of developing the route ground-up with Tyler Kirkland over a 2 year period. It was a 600+ hour adventure full of harness chafing, haulbag riding, hundreds of meters of fixed rope, kilometers of jugging with heavy bags, dead- ends, big trundles, photo shoots, and hidden treasures.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
