Itinerary:
Hi, I got the entire Elk Lakes Hut booked for 2 nights on October 14th-October 15th. The plan: Saturday morning hike in have lunch and early afternoon: Clean up the entire hut, do all dishes, work! Saturday afternoon: hike, bike, whatever you want! Saturday evening: TACOS! Sunday morning/afternoon: pack up and leave! If you can walk/bike 10km, you are welcome on the trip. Expect some work for cleaning up, but with all of us, it won't be anything too demanding! The purpose of this trip is give back to ACC, and contribute to the general maintenance of the hut for the upcoming winter use. There won't be any charges, you get to stay for free as long as you can help out :) If you have never been to a hut, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE! I plan on making this a yearly tradition for the next 100 years! If you have any questions, email me :) Cheers!

I don't know how much snow will be on the approach, but you might need skis or snowshoes to get to and from the hut. Cleaning supplies may be supplied, stay tuned!
