Itinerary:

Climbing alone with the auto belay is no fun! Looking for people interested in climbing at the University of Calgary.

If you have not done so already, you will need to complete a belay test before being able to climb - cost of test is $5. Cost to climb is $9 (come see me to use my punch pass before signing in, this will save you a buck or two).

Meet inside the Outdoor Centre at 6:00 pm (or show up earlier if three hours isn't enough).

Required Items to Bring:
Climbing shoes, chalk bag, harness, locking biner, and belay device.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Tape for crack climbing, quickdraws if you want to lead, and water. You can borrow a lead rope from the front desk so no need to bring your own rope.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
