Itinerary:
It's going to be beautiful: -13oC only! and sunny in K-country this saturday and I'm curious about trying to go from the Rummel Lake trail to Chester Lake over the Galatea "bump" (going along the summer trail) any takers? This trip is also meant for beginners as long as you have enough stamina to take a turn breaking trail!! We will take advantage of being close to the Burstall trail head for an avi beacon practice at the beacon basin there.
Required Items to Bring:
Avi beacon, probe, shovel, skis, ski boots, skins, poles, day pack with food and hot drink, extra layers for breaks.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Stamina and your sense of adventure!

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   06:40 AM
Carpool Location:   Assumption school
Carpool Directions:   Where Sarcee trail meets Hwy 1, by Sunnyside garden centre.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
