Itinerary: |
Skiing is the best thing about winter so come become a
better skier!
These sessions are for intermediate
skiers who want to ski more confidently in the back country.
We will be doing drills to improve your stance, balance and
timing so you will feel like a boss in variable terrain and snow
conditions. We will play in the bumps and on small terrain
features.
Sheena has been skiing for 34 years, ski raced for 10 years
with moments of glory, ski coached for 2 years, ski toured
for 16 years, and ski patrolled for 4 seasons.
Jenny grew up skiing at Whistler, starting as a ski racer
before turning to slopestyle and big mountain competitions.
She worked as a ski instructor for 6 years and is a level 3
CSIA instructor. Jenny has since retired from instructing and
competing at the young age of 26 so she can ski more pow
in the backcountry! See you on the slopes.
We want to pass along
helpful tips so that your time in the mountains is more fun.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
