Itinerary:
Skiing is the best thing about winter so come become a better skier! These sessions are for intermediate skiers who want to ski more confidently in the back country. We will be doing drills to improve your stance, balance and timing so you will feel like a boss in variable terrain and snow conditions. We will play in the bumps and on small terrain features. I have been skiing for 34 years, ski raced for 10 years with moments of glory, ski coached for 2 years, ski toured for 16 years, and ski patrolled for 4 seasons. Phil is a rad skier who is stoked on sweet back country lines. He ski patrolled and is a great touring partner. We want to pass along helpful tips so that your time in the mountains is more fun.
Required Items to Bring:
30$ for the lift ticket and lesson in cash or email transfer, helmet,

Recommended Items to Bring:
goggles, skis, boots, poles, comfortable ski clothes

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Meet at the picnic tables outside the lodge at COP ready to ski at 7pm. I will distribute the lift tickets prior to the lesson.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
