Itinerary:
Meet at the Tunnel Mountain Campground at 8, or at the trailhead at 8:30. We will be setting up a toprope on the main falls, as well as climbing the easier stuff in the basin. Because top-roping the main falls is more logistically challenging, we will keep the limit of 6. If you would like to lead, please bring your own screws and draws. It is easy to get ropes up, so it is ok if you want to lead or just want to top rope. If you want to climb the main falls you MUST be able to climb grade 5, as that is typically the only way out of there. There is often open water at the bottom.
Required Items to Bring:
ice axes, crampons, helmets, warm clothes and gloves, harness, belay device

Recommended Items to Bring:
Micro spikes for the walk in. Ice screws If you have a rope, feel free to bring. Adrian an I only have 2 between the two of us but will try to get club ropes if there are some dry and available.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Google is best. On the Bow Valley Parkway. Carpool departs from ice review camping at tunnel campground

Carpool Location:   Tunnel Mountain Campground

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
